Read Time:1 Minute, 5 Second

This weekend I did something that was very difficult to do, I drilled holes into my Jeep hardtop! YIKES! I ordered a Rhino Rack in February 2021, and because orders were back ordered I didn’t get it until late May 2021. When it arrived, I had mixed feelings, on one hand I was excited on the other hand scared! Scared? Yes! I was required to drill 12 holes into my hardtop to support the backbone frame and rack. Here is the biggest lesson I learned!

INSTALLATION LESSON:

The instructions are a 6 out of 10 on helpfulness. This means do NOT rely on the instructions exclusively. It wasn’t until I watched Rhino Racks installation video on YouTube that it all made sense. I totally recommend watching that video before installing! If you want to find a link to the video see below.

I didnt want to document my install because I was so nervous. After my install I realized, it wasn’t that hard, and a lot of my fear was all in my head. You can do this! Go slow and follow the instructions, both video and printed.

You love you new rack!

If you have questions, please leave a comment. Let me know what you think! I will post a video shortly.
